Followers – a new way for hosts and artists to build their community

At Low-Fi we often use the word community about guests, hosts, and artists.
Because Low-Fi is a community; it’s people coming together, hosts and artists creating the concerts, and the guests attending them.
But Low-Fi is not only one big community but a collection of smaller communities centered around a host or an artist.
Many hosts have guests who come back again and again to attend their concerts. Either because they like the host’s choice of music or enjoy the experience the host creates in their home.
But we are also aware that it can be a challenge for hosts who regularly create concerts to keep on engaging their community.

Say hello to Followers

As one way to help get the word out, we are launching a new feature: Followers.
Followers is a way for guests to keep up with their favorite hosts and artists, and for artists and hosts to create a community of their own.
Guests can decide to follow a host and artists directly from their profile and get notified whenever that creator publishes a new concert.
Guests that attend a concert will automatically follow the host. In this way, the community surrounding the hosts grows with every concert. Hosts who have created concerts in the past will find that they already have a number of followers.
You can keep track of the artists and hosts you follow, and at any time you can decide whether or not to keep following them.

Build your own community

If a host or an artist wants to build or expand their community on Low-Fi, they can ask their network, friends, and family to follow them on their profile, even if they don’t have upcoming concerts.
We hope that this new feature will be helpful for all of the Low-Fi community. We will add more features and functions in the future based on the feedback we get from all of you.
